Ingredients:
106g Unsalted Butter softened
113g Caster Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Paste
2 Eggs
342g Plain Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Salt
Sesame Seeds - for coating
Method:
·
Using the paddle attachment,
mix A until light and pale, then add B and mix. This will split but don’t worry
about it.
·
Add in C and mix till a dough forms.
·
Place dough onto some glad wrap, flatten,
wrap up and refrigerate for 1 hour.
·
Cut sections out of the dough and roll into a
long sausage, but make sure it’s not too thick or too thin.
·
Preheat oven to 180c fan forced
·
Cut 1 finger length pieces, then cut those in
half, so you have little pillow pieces or you can leave them long.
·
Add milk to a bowl and sesame seeds to
another bowl.
·
Dip the dough into the milk and then into the
sesame seeds, fully coating the dough. Place onto a lined baking tray with a
little space in between each biscuit.
·
Bake
for 13 minutes or until the biscuits are lightly golden brown.
